Palo Verde Behavioral Health Opens New Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program

TUCSON, Arizona – Palo Verde Behavioral Health, a leading inpatient psychiatric care facility in Tucson, is pleased to announce the opening of their Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for teens aged 13 to 17 on Monday, May 2nd.

The Adolescent IOP licensed therapists provides individualized treatment to meet the specific needs of troubled teens. The program addresses the needs of adolescents in four key areas: developing healthier relationships, balancing intense emotions, changing self-destructive behaviors and increasing positive self-identity.

The program is offered three-days-per-week, three hours per session and length of treatment is 8 weeks or 24 sessions.

Parent and guardian involvement is highly encouraged! A growing body of research indicates that adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges have better outcomes when their family reinforces the positive changes they are making.
