Adult General Psychiatric Inpatient Care
Palo Verde Behavioral Health (PVBH) offers an inpatient psychiatric treatment program for Adults program for treatment for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other mental health issues. Our personalized treatment and after-care plans address a broad range of needs, with specific consideration given to each patient. Comprehensive assessment and treatment may include individual and group therapy, as well as family education. Treatment is provided by a team of professional’s including: a Medical Director, attending psychiatrist, clinical therapist, nurse practitioner, behavioral health technicians and most importantly….. you.
PVBH provides free assessment and referral services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for adults aged 18 and upwards. A face-to-face assessment may be scheduled with a qualified mental health professional to review an individual’s concerns about changes in their emotions, behaviors and level of daily functioning. The assessment takes approximately 30-45 minutes and concludes with recommendations for the best treatment options. Appointments may be scheduled by calling our Assessment and Referral Department.
Assessment and referral is a free community service. With few exceptions, the assessment is available to anyone regardless of insurance coverage or whether treatment is received at PVBH or elsewhere.
Assessments are provided by evaluators who are licensed mental health counselors and trained psychologists, social workers, counselors, nurses and nurse practitioners. The clinicians are trained and experienced in assessing problems associated with mental health issues for adults.
Individuals are referred to appropriate community services according to need and financial resources.
